Sleeve – RA1050088/003

Fitting inside a lift linkage joint on a Raymond lift truck, this sleeve forms the bearing surface between a pivot pin and the bore that surrounds it, taking the friction and load of the joint so the mating parts do not wear directly against each other. As the mast cycles, the sleeve holds the pivot to close tolerance so the joint articulates cleanly without the play that develops when metal rides on metal.

A sleeve in this position is a sacrificial wear part by design, absorbing the wear that would otherwise fall on the far more expensive linkage members and pins around it. Over many cycles the original sleeve wears thin or scores, opening up clearance and letting the joint knock or drift, and a fresh sleeve restores a tight, quiet pivot.

Installing it as part of a linkage refresh, alongside the pin it rides on, keeps lift motion steady and protects the surrounding parts. Match the sleeve to the joint by its inside and outside diameters and its length, since a sleeve has to fit both the pin it carries and the bore it seats in to do its job.
