Set between mating surfaces on a Crown lift truck, this Crown damper sheet absorbs vibration and deadens noise where two components meet, cushioning the contact so the joint does not rattle or transmit resonance into the surrounding structure. It works by taking up the small movement between panels or parts that would otherwise buzz, drum, or wear against each other under the truck's normal running vibration.

Over long service the damper material compresses, hardens, or tears, and once it stops cushioning the contact the rattle returns and the mating parts begin to fret against one another. A fresh sheet restores the quiet, cushioned fit the assembly had when new and protects the adjacent components from vibration-driven wear.

Match the replacement to the original by its outline and thickness, since a damper sheet has to fill the gap it sits in to cushion the contact correctly.
