A Crown 1/4-28 UNF grease fitting with a 90 degree elbow that lubricates frame and undercarriage points on Crown lift trucks. The elbow angle lets a grease gun reach a lube point a straight fitting could not clear, while its internal ball check admits grease under pressure and holds it between lubrications. Threaded 1/4-28 UNF with a 90 degree elbow, this Crown grease fitting, Crown number 080573, feeds grease to frame and undercarriage lube points on Crown lift trucks. The elbow angle lets a grease gun reach a fitting where surrounding structure would block a straight zerk, and the internal ball check admits grease under pressure and holds it in between lubrications.
It fits Crown PE 4000 and PE 4500 series pallet trucks at their frame and undercarriage grease points. A zerk is replaced when its ball check clogs or sticks and will not take grease, or when the elbow head is sheared off by contact.
Match the 1/4-28 thread and the 90 degree elbow orientation to the fitting coming out, since thread pitch and elbow angle both have to match for the fitting to seal and clear surrounding structure.
