Feeding grease into a lubrication point through a spring-loaded check ball, this UniCarriers grease nipple opens under the pressure of a grease gun and reseals the moment the gun is removed. That one-way action pushes fresh grease into the joint while keeping dirt, water, and grit from working back into the bearing or bushing it serves.

Also called a zerk fitting, it threads into bushings, pivots, king pins, and other serviced joints across UniCarriers equipment, giving each one a permanent, sealed port for routine greasing. A nipple clogged with hardened grease or with a stuck check ball will not accept grease and starves the joint of lubrication.

Match the thread size and the stem angle, straight, 45 degree, or 90 degree, to the fitting you are replacing, since both determine whether it threads in and presents the grease gun coupler at a usable angle.
