Seated against the top panel of a UniCarriers lift truck, this molded rubber bumper cushions the panel and absorbs the repeated contact and vibration that would otherwise work it loose over time. UniCarriers produces it as the top panel bumper for that position, sized to the panel structure it protects and the mounting points that carry it.

Rubber is the working material here for a reason. It compresses to take an impact and returns to shape, damping shock and vibration that would otherwise transmit into the panel and its fasteners and wear them. Over service the rubber hardens, cracks, tears, or compresses flat, and once it does the panel starts to rattle and its mounts take the abuse directly, which is the signal to replace the bumper.

When fitting a new one, match the profile and the mounting hole pattern of the bumper currently on the truck, since those two features determine whether it seats correctly against the panel and lines up with its mount points.
