Driving the cooling fan and accessory pulleys off the engine, this cogged V-belt keeps coolant circulating and air moving through the radiator on the engine-powered lift trucks it serves. The notched, or cogged, underside is what sets it apart from a plain V-belt: the teeth let it flex easily around smaller-diameter pulleys and shed heat as it runs, which reduces the flex fatigue that shortens belt life under continuous duty.
