Crown Horn 24-48V – CR147631-001

Crown builds this electric horn to run across a 24 to 48 volt range, the operating band of its electric lift truck line, so one horn covers trucks at different system voltages without a separate part per voltage. It wires through two terminals and sounds the audible warning that alerts pedestrians and other operators when the driver signals, a required safety function on equipment sharing floor space with people on foot.

The rated output holds within plus or minus 5 decibels, a tolerance that keeps the warning loud and consistent rather than fading as components age. Like any electromechanical horn, it fails predictably: the tone weakens, buzzes, or cuts out as the internal contacts and diaphragm wear, and a horn that no longer sounds clearly leaves the truck without its warning signal.
