The Yale 24-volt onboard battery charger recharges the traction battery on Yale and Hyster MPB40-E electric pallet trucks directly from a 120-volt wall outlet, with no separate floor charger required. It draws 120 VAC input and delivers a 24-volt charge, returning the battery to full between shifts. Like other power electronics it can stop charging, charge partially, or fault out, leaving the truck unable to hold a shift's run time.
The Yale 24-volt onboard battery charger recharges the traction battery on Yale and Hyster MPB40-E electric pallet trucks directly from a standard 120-volt wall outlet, with no separate floor charger required. It runs off 120 VAC input and delivers a 24-volt charge to the truck's battery, and it replaces the original Yale onboard charger under this part number.
The charger is the component that returns the battery to full charge between shifts, and it fails the way power electronics do: it may stop charging, charge partially, or fault out, leaving the truck unable to hold a shift's run time. Replacing a failed onboard charger restores the truck's ability to recharge itself from a wall outlet.
Because charger output is matched to the battery and truck, this unit is the direct replacement for the Yale MPB40-E onboard charger. Forklifts Etc. supplies it as the replacement 24-volt onboard charger.
