Contact Connector 350A 1/0 – CR78724-006

Rated for 350 amperes and sized for 1/0 gauge cable, this connector contact is the current-carrying element inside a battery power connector on Crown electric lift trucks. It crimps onto the power cable and seats in the connector housing, joining the battery to the truck or to the charger and passing high load current across a low-resistance contact surface.

That contact surface is the wear point of the whole connection. Every plug and unplug scrapes it, and the high current it carries pits and overheats it, so over time resistance climbs, the contact and cable run hot, and the connection loses its grip. A fresh contact brings back a cool, tight, low-resistance joint and clears the heat and voltage drop a worn one causes.

Match the 350 amp rating and the 1/0 cable size to the connector on the battery circuit being serviced, and match the contact to the housing it seats in, since amperage rating, cable gauge, and housing style together determine whether the contact carries the load and locks into place correctly.
