Contactor with Bracket 24V – AFS819/24AE

Built for a 24 volt coil, this contactor switches the high-current circuit in an electric lift truck on and off under the command of a low-current control signal, and it comes with its mounting bracket so it drops into the panel as a unit. The contactor carries the heavy traction or pump current on its main contacts while the 24 volt coil does the actual switching, keeping the operator controls isolated from the load.

Contactors are wear parts by nature. Every time the coil pulls in, the main contacts make and break under load, and over thousands of cycles they pit, arc, and eventually weld or fail to close. Dropping voltage across worn contacts, chatter, or a contactor that stops pulling in are the signals it has reached end of life. The included bracket positions it correctly and saves sourcing the mount separately. Confirm the 24 volt coil rating and the contact arrangement against the unit being replaced, since contactors of the same frame come in different coil voltages and contact configurations.
