Crown Magnet – CR145211

Paired with a proximity or position sensor, this Crown magnet supplies the magnetic field the sensor reads on a Crown lift truck, giving the sensor a defined target to detect. As the magnet passes or aligns with its sensor, the sensor registers position, motion, or presence and reports it to the truck's control system.

Reliable magnetic sensing underpins the truck's ability to track functions accurately across steering, lift, and control circuits, and a weak, cracked, or dislodged magnet gives the sensor an unreliable target, which shows up as erratic or missed readings. A sound magnet restores a clean, consistent signal for the sensor to read.

Match the magnet's size and mounting to the one coming off, and confirm the paired sensor and its mounting location on your truck, since a magnet has to sit at the right distance and orientation for its sensor to pick it up.
