This Crown core is the rebuildable foundation of an electric lift truck component, the reusable base from which a working unit is remanufactured to its original form and fit. On Crown electric lift trucks, a core carries the durable structure, the housing, casting, or main body, that outlasts the wear parts around it and can be restored rather than scrapped.

Remanufacturing rebuilds that core back to serviceable condition: worn internals are replaced, surfaces are restored, and the unit is brought back to the fit and function it left the factory with. Because the value is in a sound, correct base, match the core to the required configuration for the component being rebuilt, since a core has to be the right structure and version to remanufacture into the unit the truck needs.
