300 Amp Fuse – ANL-300

Rated at 300 amps, this ANL-style fuse is a bolt-down power fuse built for the high-current DC circuits found on electric lift trucks and other battery-powered equipment. The ANL form uses a heavy metal element with two bolt holes at the terminals, so it mounts solidly to a bus or fuse block and carries continuous high current without the resistance and heat of a clip-in fuse.

As the main or branch protection on a high-current circuit, a fuse like this guards the battery, controller, and motor wiring against a short or a sustained overload that could otherwise cause severe damage. It opens when current exceeds its rating, isolating the fault. Match the amp rating to the circuit it protects, since the 300 amp value must suit the load and wiring it guards; a rating too high leaves the circuit unprotected. The bolt spacing and body size follow the ANL standard, so it fits ANL fuse holders built to that pattern.
