Bussmann Fuse 325A 125VAC/80VDC – ANN-325

Rated at 325 amps, this Bussmann very fast acting limiter fuse protects high-current DC circuits by clearing a fault in a fraction of a cycle, fast enough to cap the peak let-through current before it reaches the semiconductors and cabling downstream. The ANN series is rated to 125 volts AC and 80 volts DC, which places it in the DC traction and control circuits of electric material handling equipment rather than line-voltage distribution.

Very fast acting means the element opens almost immediately on a short circuit, protecting the solid-state controllers and motor drives that a slower fuse would let take the surge. On an electric lift truck, that speed is the difference between a blown fuse and a damaged controller.

This fuse is documented to fit Crown equipment, sized to the 325 amp circuit it protects. Match the amperage and the ANN series body to the fuse coming out of the holder, since a fuse right in amperage but wrong in series will not seat or clear the same way. A blown limiter does not reset; it is replaced once it has cleared a fault.
