Bussmann Fuse 50A 125VAC/80VDC – ANN-50

Rated at 50 amps and good to 125VAC or 80VDC, the Bussmann ANN-series fuse is a very fast acting limiter fuse built to clear a fault quickly enough to protect downstream electrical components on Crown lift trucks. The ANN series uses a bolt-on flat blade body, roughly 3-3/16 inches across the mounting, that bolts directly to a stud or bus rather than clipping into a holder, which gives a low-resistance, vibration-resistant connection suited to the high-current DC circuits on electric trucks. Its very fast acting characteristic means it opens with minimal delay on an overcurrent, limiting the energy that reaches the circuit it guards.

A fuse is a one-time protective device: once it clears a fault it is spent and reads open, and the replacement has to match both the amp rating and the voltage rating so it protects the circuit without nuisance-opening under normal load. Match the 50 amp rating, the 125VAC and 80VDC rating, and the bolt-on body and hole spacing to the fuse being replaced, since a limiter of the wrong rating or body will not protect or fit the circuit correctly.
