The mini blade body, also called the APM or ATM format, is the compact two-prong design that seats in a mini fuse block or inline holder, smaller than a standard blade fuse while doing the same job.
The 15 amp element is sized to let a circuit's normal current pass and to blow before excess current can damage wiring or a connected component. As a fuse it is sacrificial by design, opening to save the circuit and then requiring replacement.
Match the 15 amp rating and the 32 volt limit to the circuit being protected, since a higher-rated fuse in the same slot would let damaging current through before it clears.
