Fuse 60A 125VAC/80VDC for Crown – ANN-60

Rated to open within a fraction of a cycle once current climbs past 60 amps, this Bussmann very fast acting limiter fuse protects electric lift truck circuits at 125VAC and 80VDC. That clearing speed is what separates a current limiter from a standard time delay fuse: it interrupts fault current fast enough to shield semiconductor components, controllers, and battery circuits before a short or overload can damage them.

In service the fuse sits in the main power circuit or a major subsystem feed, acting as the sacrificial component meant to fail before the wiring, controller, or motor does. When it opens, it interrupts current flow completely, and the truck's electrical system on that circuit stays dead until the fuse is replaced. A fuse rated below 60 amps, or below the 125VAC/80VDC threshold, will not deliver equivalent protection on this circuit.
