Solenoid for Tennant lift trucks, that switches a power circuit such as a starter, pump, or lift contactor. It uses a low-current control signal to pull in a high-current contact, and is replaced when it fails to engage, sticks, or chatters.
The Tennant 36-volt DC water solenoid valve electrically controls the cleaning-solution flow on Tennant floor scrubbers. When the control system energizes the 36 volt coil, the valve opens to let solution flow to the scrub head, and it closes to shut the flow off when the machine stops scrubbing.
It fits the Tennant T12, T16, and the side-scrub option on the T17 and M17. A solenoid valve fails by coil burnout or by its seat clogging or sticking, which leaves solution either not flowing or not shutting off. Replacing the valve restores controlled solution delivery. Forklifts Etc. carries it as the Tennant 36 volt water solenoid valve.
