Pedal pressure at the operator station opens and closes an electrical circuit through this Toyota foot switch, giving the truck a positive on or off signal tied to where the operator's foot sits. Mounted at the floor of the operator compartment, it delivers a clean make-and-break contact that the control system reads as a command input for safe, predictable operation.

A foot switch lives in one of the harshest spots on the truck, taking constant actuation, debris, and moisture underfoot through every shift. Over time the internal contacts wear, oxidize, or begin making intermittently, and the truck responds late or unpredictably to the pedal. Replacing the switch restores the crisp, repeatable switching action the original delivered when new.

Built to the Toyota fit, it drops into the operator station in place of an aging or intermittent pedal switch. Match the pedal linkage and connector to the switch coming off, since the linkage geometry and plug must line up for the pedal to actuate and wire correctly.
