Covering a live electrical terminal in a Raymond lift truck's power system, this Raymond terminal insulator isolates the connection from the surrounding chassis and from accidental contact, keeping current where it belongs and preventing a short or an arc. On a battery-powered truck moving high current through its terminals, that barrier stands between an energized connection and a hard ground.

Heat, age, and vibration take a toll on an insulator. One that has cracked, melted, or gone brittle no longer covers the terminal fully and exposes it to shorting against ground or an adjacent conductor. A fresh insulator restores the barrier and keeps the connection safe under load.

Molded as a genuine Raymond part to fit the terminal it protects, it seats over the same connection the original covered; match its form to the terminal and the insulator coming off so it seals the connection completely.
