Hydraulic valve for Tennant lift trucks, controlling the flow or pressure of oil in the lift or steering circuit. A worn or stuck valve causes drift, slow or weak function, or lost pressure; it is replaced or rebuilt to restore correct hydraulic control.
The Tennant valve cover gasket seals the valve cover to the cylinder head on the engine of a Tennant sweeper or scrubber. It seals the top of the engine so oil stays inside the valvetrain and does not weep out around the cover.
A valve cover gasket hardens and shrinks with heat and age, and once it does the engine seeps oil around the cover. Replacing the gasket restores the oil-tight seal. Forklifts Etc. carries it as the Tennant valve cover gasket.
