Seal Kit – YT901905852

The Yale power steering overhaul kit, part number 901905852, reseals the steering cylinder on Yale lift trucks. It fits the Yale GTC030AF and supplies the seals needed to rebuild the steer-axle power cylinder that turns the drive or steer wheels when the operator moves the wheel.

The kit is the rebuild path for a cylinder that has started to leak or lose steering assist rather than a whole-cylinder replacement, which is why it exists as a packing kit: the cylinder body and rod are still good, but the dynamic seals that hold hydraulic pressure against the piston and rod have hardened and worn. As those seals age they let oil bypass internally or weep past the rod, and the steering goes heavy, drifts, or feels soft because the cylinder can no longer hold full pressure on the assisted side. Installing the fresh seal set restores the pressure seal and returns normal steering effort.
