Under working hydraulic pressure a coupling has to hold its connection without weeping, and this Raymond hydraulic coupling assembly joins two sections of the circuit to pass fluid between them while keeping that junction sealed. It carries flow as the hydraulic system drives the lift, lower, and steering functions on the truck.

Built for Raymond electric lift equipment, it also crosses to Crown hydraulic systems, so one part serves as a replacement across both fleets. A fresh coupling restores a clean, leak-resistant junction where lines meet, protecting downstream valves and cylinders from the pressure loss and contamination a worn fitting lets in. Couplings are replaced when the sealing surfaces score, the threads gall, or the body cracks and the joint begins to seep.

Coupling bodies of the same family vary in port size and thread form, so match the connection size and orientation to the coupling being replaced before installing, since a fitting right in every other respect but wrong in port size will not seal.
