Cascade Cylinder Seal Kit – CE-1453

Sideshift cylinders lose their seals long before the cylinder body wears out, and this Cascade seal kit rebuilds that cylinder with a fresh set of rod seals, piston seals, wipers, and O-rings sized to its bore. Resealing restores the cylinder's ability to hold pressure and shift the fork carriage cleanly to either side without drift.

A sideshift cylinder works every time an operator lines a load up with a rack or a truck bed, so its seals see heavy cycling and eventually harden and pass fluid, showing as slow drift, weeping at the rod, or weak shifting force. A seal kit is the standard repair when the barrel and rod are still good, returning the cylinder to full function at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

This is a Cascade part for the sideshift cylinder on Cascade attachments and Crown lift trucks. Match the kit to the cylinder bore and rod diameter it seals, since a seal set sized to a different cylinder will not seat or seal.
