Tilt Cylinder – RA10301006

A tilt cylinder tilts the mast forward and back, converting hydraulic pressure into the push and pull that angles the forks to pick up a load, stabilize it against the backrest, and set it down level. This Raymond tilt cylinder is the hydraulic actuator for that motion, a rod-and-barrel cylinder that mounts between the frame and the mast and extends or retracts as oil is directed to either side of its piston.

A tilt cylinder that leaks past its seals loses the ability to hold the mast angle under load, showing up as drift, slow tilt, or a mast that will not hold its set position. As a Raymond part it matches the mounting, stroke, and porting of the original so it ties back into the same linkage and hydraulic lines. Tilt cylinders are matched by their mounting geometry and stroke length, so the cylinder coming off is the reference for the replacement; match the pin centers and stroke so it seats between the same mounts and gives the same tilt range. Supplied as a complete cylinder for direct replacement.
