The Aisan coolant-heated Toyota LPG regulator assembly for the 4Y propane engine converts liquid propane into vapor and regulates its delivery pressure. Engine coolant heats the converter to boil the incoming liquid propane, and it meters the vapor to the pressure the fuel system needs so a propane forklift starts and runs cleanly.
It belongs to the Model-C regulator family used on Toyota 7-series LP forklifts. A converter is a wear item: its internal diaphragms and seats harden and its passages foul over time, causing hard starting and weak, rough running. Replacing it restores clean fuel delivery.
