Relay 36V – SW-1757

Driven by a 36 volt coil, this relay lets a low-current control signal open and close a much higher-current circuit on Crown electric lift trucks, so a small switch input can command a heavy electrical load without carrying that load itself.

The 36 volt coil rating ties it to Crown's 36 volt truck systems, matching the coil to the control voltage the truck supplies; a coil mismatched to system voltage either fails to pull in or runs hot. Inside, the contacts carry the switched current while the coil provides the magnetic pull that closes them on command.

Relays wear at the contacts and the coil, and one that chatters, sticks closed, or no longer pulls in leaves the circuit it controls unreliable or dead. A sound replacement restores clean, repeatable switching. Match the coil voltage and the contact arrangement to the relay being replaced so it takes over the same role in the electrical system.
