Crown's accessory potentiometer kit supplies the variable resistor that feeds a control signal to the truck's electronics for its accessory circuit, translating the position of a control into the changing resistance the controller reads to regulate the accessory function. As a kit, it comes with the components needed to replace the potentiometer as a unit rather than piecing the parts together separately.

This is the accessory-circuit version, and Crown builds separate potentiometer kits for the hydraulic and traction circuits that are not interchangeable with it, so the kit has to match the circuit it serves.
