Closing its contacts when pressed, this Crown push switch provides a push-actuated electrical input on Crown lift trucks, sending a signal to the control system on press and returning to its rest state when released. It serves as an operator or function switch in the truck's control circuit, giving a positive make-and-break at the point where it is mounted.

Switch contacts wear and oxidize with repeated use, and a failing push switch grows intermittent, sticks, or stops making contact, so the function it controls responds erratically or not at all. Installing a direct Crown replacement restores a clean, positive control signal from that input.
