Crown Proximity Sensor CR128305-002 – CR128305-2

Detecting a target without touching it, this Crown proximity sensor reports the presence and position of a moving part to the truck's control system on a Crown electric lift truck. It switches its output when the target moves into range, giving the controls a clean position signal they use to govern a moving assembly, and because the sensing is non-contact there is no mechanical actuator to wear against the target.

As an electrical sensing component it fits as a direct Crown replacement for the original unit, restoring reliable position feedback when the factory sensor drifts, switches erratically, or stops switching cleanly. A proximity sensor that no longer reports position accurately can leave the controlled function mistimed or inoperative, so a sound sensor returns the truck to correct, repeatable operation of whatever assembly it monitors.

Match the sensor output type and the mounting and thread or body size to the original before installing, since the output has to match what the control system expects and the mounting has to hold the sensing face at the correct gap from its target.
