This UniCarriers grease nipple is the zerk fitting that gives a grease gun a sealed connection to a lubrication point on UniCarriers forklifts. Its internal spring-loaded ball check opens to admit grease under the gun's pressure and closes to keep grease in and dirt out between lubrications. It is replaced when the ball check clogs, sticks, or the head shears off.

A grease nipple, or zerk fitting, is replaced when its ball check clogs or sticks and will not take grease, or when its head is sheared off in service. Fitting UniCarriers equipment, it restores a clean, sealed grease path at the lube point. Match the thread size and the fitting angle, straight, 45, or 90 degrees, to the nipple coming out so the grease gun still clears and seats.
