Tilt Cylinder – YT580024571R

The remanufactured Yale tilt cylinder is the hydraulic component that tilts the mast forward and back on Yale lift trucks. The tilt cylinder is what lets the operator angle the mast to pick up and stabilize a load, extending and retracting under hydraulic pressure to swing the mast through its tilt range.

As a reman unit it is a rebuilt original: the cylinder is disassembled, its bore and rod inspected and refinished, and new seals fitted, so it is returned to working condition rather than sold new. Tilt cylinders come in for rebuild when the internal piston seal bypasses and the cylinder no longer holds tilt, drifting under load or failing to hold the mast angle. A resealed, refinished cylinder restores full tilt hold.

Because the cylinder is matched to the truck's mast, this reman unit is the direct replacement for the original Yale tilt cylinder. Forklifts Etc. supplies it remanufactured as the alternative to a new cylinder.
