Contact Connector 175A 1/0 – AN-199X PAIR

Rated to carry 175 amps and sized for 1/0 gauge cable, these are the power contacts that crimp onto the battery and truck cables inside a 175 amp connector housing, sold as a pair for the two mating halves of one connection. The contact is where current actually transfers, so its plating and crimp barrel set how much resistance and heat the joint runs under a working load.

Contacts wear and heat-cycle over time, and a burned, pitted, or loose contact shows up as a hot connector, voltage drop, or a connection that arcs on separation. Replacing the contacts restores a low-resistance path without swapping the whole housing.

Match the 175 amp contact size and the 1/0 cable gauge to the connector in service, since contacts are sized to both the housing amperage and the cable they crimp to, and a contact wrong in either will not seat or grip.
