Crown Switch – CR142815-002

Switching an electrical circuit open or closed on the truck's control system, this Crown switch carries current to the function it operates on Crown electric lift trucks. It is a low-mass component, about 0.1 pounds, consistent with a panel or bracket mounted control switch rather than a heavy power-handling device.

A switch of this kind wears at its internal contacts, which pit and carbon up over thousands of actuation cycles until the circuit becomes intermittent or fails to make at all. When a controlled function stops responding reliably and the wiring and supply test good, a failing switch is the usual cause, and replacing it restores clean, positive circuit control.

Because Crown uses several switch styles across its lineup, match the actuation type, terminal arrangement, and mounting footprint to the switch coming off the truck so the replacement seats and wires the same way.
