The Yale seal kit is a packing set designed to reseal one hydraulic lift cylinder on Yale lift trucks. It supplies the dynamic and static seals that hold hydraulic pressure inside the cylinder, letting a shop rebuild a leaking or drifting cylinder rather than replace the whole assembly.
The kit is the economical repair path because the cylinder tube and rod are usually still serviceable while only the seals have failed. As the rod seal, piston seal, and wiper harden and wear, the cylinder weeps oil past the rod, drifts down under load, or loses lift, all signs that the seals no longer hold full pressure. Fresh seals restore the pressure boundary and return normal lift performance.
