Crown Proximity Sensor CR062874 – CR62874

Non-contact position sensing is what a proximity sensor brings to the truck: it detects the presence and position of a metal target without touching it and sends a switching signal the control system reads. Crown uses this sensor, its part CR062874, to report the position of a moving component within the electric truck's control circuit, grouping it with the drive unit, brake, and steering system.

Because it switches without physical contact, there are no wear surfaces to erode, but the sensor can drift or stop responding cleanly as it ages, which shows up as erratic or missed signals in the function it monitors. Installed as a direct Crown replacement, it restores accurate position sensing when the original unit no longer switches reliably.

Match the sensor body size, mounting thread, and connector to the unit being replaced so it threads into the same bracket and plugs into the existing harness. The sensing range and target it reports on are set by the position it installs into.
