Switching a higher-current circuit with a low-current control signal, this Crown relay lets the truck's control system operate a heavy load without carrying the load's full current through the control wiring itself. The control coil pulls in a set of contacts that open or close the power circuit, isolating the delicate control side from the current it commands.

As an electrical control component on Crown lift trucks, the relay actuates thousands of times in service, and its contacts eventually pit or its coil weakens until it no longer pulls in cleanly. When that happens the load it controls responds intermittently or not at all. A fresh relay restores reliable, positive switching.

Match the relay's coil voltage, contact rating, and terminal arrangement to the original, since relays of similar size can differ in how they switch and how they wire in.
