Crown Pivot Plate with Bushings – E-6676

Crown supplies this pivot plate with its bushings already installed, giving you a complete pivot member for the chassis of Crown electric lift trucks rather than a bare plate that still needs bushings pressed and sized. At about 4 pounds, it is the fixed half of a pivoting joint and the surface the pivot rotates against.

Bushings are what wear in a joint like this. Steady rotation against the pivot gradually opens clearance, and when the play becomes noticeable the plate and bushings are renewed as a set so the joint returns to its original tight fit. Because the bushings are already matched to the plate's bore, the pivot seats correctly the first time without separate fitting work.

Before installing, measure the pivot shaft against the bushing bore, since the joint only holds alignment and carries load when the plate seats fully on the shaft. Forklifts Etc. supplies this as a direct Crown replacement.
