Power or signal moves between components through this Yale cable, the wired link in one of the electrical circuits on a Yale lift truck. It is terminated at both ends to connect the specific points it serves in the truck's wiring, carrying current or a control signal from one component to the next as part of the harness.

A cable becomes a replacement item when its copper conductors break internally from flex and vibration, when its insulation chafes through against a frame edge and risks a short, or when its terminals corrode and lose contact. Any of these turns a solid circuit into an intermittent or dead one, and because the fault is often inside the insulation or at a terminal, it can be hard to spot without pulling and inspecting the cable.

Match the length, conductor gauge, and terminal or connector style to the cable being replaced, since those determine whether it reaches between its points, carries the load without overheating, and lands on the existing connections.
