Magnet Relay 30A-24 – YE0206

Rated for 30 amps at 24 volts, this magnet relay lets a low-current control signal switch a much heavier load, the job that keeps operator controls and control boards from having to carry full circuit current directly. Energizing its 24 volt coil pulls the contacts closed and makes the switched circuit; de-energizing the coil opens them again. That switching role puts it in the control and power circuits of 24 volt battery-handling and material handling equipment, where it makes and breaks the higher-current paths on command.

Like any electromechanical relay, it is a wear item. Repeated cycling pits, burns, or eventually welds the contacts, and the coil can open or lose pull, and when either happens the switched circuit stops actuating cleanly or stops responding at all. Replacing the relay restores reliable, positive switching of the 30 amp load.

Confirm the coil voltage is 24 volts and the contact rating suits the load being switched when matching this against the relay coming out, since coil voltage and contact rating are what determine whether a replacement relay drops in and holds up.
