Forks carry every load a lift truck lifts, and this replacement fork mounts to the carriage of Raymond lift trucks and bears that weight through the heel where stress concentrates. At roughly 110 pounds, it is a substantial forged steel blade sized for the daily duty a Raymond truck sees across a full shift.

The fork hangs on the carriage bars by its upper and lower hooks and locks into position, so it comes off and goes back on without tools once the retaining pin is released. Load rides along the blade and transfers into the vertical shank, and over years of service the heel, where the horizontal blade meets the shank, thins from repeated loading and from scraping against pallets and floors.

A fork worn past roughly ten percent of its original heel thickness loses rated capacity and is due for replacement, which is why forks are changed in matched pairs rather than one at a time. Match the thickness, length, and carriage class of the fork coming off, since those dimensions govern whether the new blade hangs correctly and carries the rated load.
