Acts as a shaft on Crown electric lift trucks, providing the rotating or pivot axis for the component assembled onto it. Crown builds this shaft to seat through mating bores and bearings, locating and supporting the part that turns or pivots on it while carrying the loads passed through that joint. A shaft with worn, scored, or bent surfaces lets the mounted part run loose or out of true, which accelerates bearing and bushing wear. Installing a new shaft with fresh bearings restores the original fit. When matching a replacement, compare the shaft diameter and overall length against the part you are removing.
