A fuse holder is the physical anchor for a circuit's overcurrent protection, and Raymond builds this one to mount the inline fuse that protects a specific circuit within its lift truck's electrical system. The holder clamps the fuse in place and carries the full current of that circuit through its own contacts, so the holder itself has to maintain a tight, low-resistance connection or the fuse and everything downstream of it will not get reliable power.

Vibration and thermal cycling are the two things that work against a fuse holder over time. Contacts can loosen or corrode, and a loose fuse holder can mimic a blown fuse, cutting power to a circuit even though the fuse itself is intact, which sends a technician chasing the wrong problem if the holder is not checked.
