Routing 18 AWG, 6-conductor cable between terminal strips TS2 and TS3, this Raymond over-the-mast cable assembly carries the wiring that must travel with the mast as it extends and retracts, connecting power and signals between the lower chassis and components mounted higher on the mast. It is built for Reach-Fork 7500, 7520, 7700, and 7720 trucks from serial number 31001 and later, across a mast with a 131-inch collapsed height.

Because the cable flexes through thousands of extension and retraction cycles over its service life, the conductors and outer jacket fatigue at the flex points. A cable nearing failure shows as intermittent electrical faults, chafed insulation, or a broken conductor that interrupts the circuit between the terminal strips.
