This steering thrust bearing carries the vertical steering load and lets the steer or idler wheel assembly swivel on a Raymond lift truck, taking load along the axis of rotation to support weight bearing down through the steer pivot. It fits the Raymond 7400 reach truck, and as its races and rolling elements wear, steering grows stiff, notchy, or noisy and develops play.
