Crown Axle CR083950 – E-2233

Carrying and locating a rotating or pivoting member on a Crown electric lift truck, this machined Crown axle supports the wheel or linkage joint it passes through and transfers the load from that joint into the truck frame. It holds the connected parts in alignment as they turn or articulate through travel and load handling.

Machined to Crown specifications, it seats correctly in the original bore without modification, keeping the same fit and bearing arrangement the assembly was built around. An axle wears at its bearing journals and load-bearing surfaces, and once clearance opens up the assembly develops play that accelerates wear in the bearings and bushings riding on it.

Replacing a worn axle restores accurate motion and a tight fit while protecting those surrounding parts from the damage a scored or undersized shaft causes. Match the replacement to the original by its diameter, overall length, and the bearing or mounting features along it, since Crown uses different axles across its wheel and linkage assemblies and the shaft has to correspond to the bores and bearings already in the truck.
