Serves as a machined steel shaft within the running gear of a Crown electric pallet truck, giving the mating linkage, bushings, and wheel components a true axis to rotate and pivot on through every lift and travel cycle. Hardened construction resists galling, deflection, and wear where the shaft carries side thrust and shock loads fed in from pallet handling. Because it functions as the reference axis for the parts around it, a straight, correctly sized shaft keeps linkage tracking true and prevents the slop and binding that follow a worn one. Installed as a Crown replacement, it restores factory alignment so connected fasteners and bushings seat and load as designed. Fits Crown PE 4000 series electric pallet trucks.
