Axle – CR150546

Machined to mount and support a rotating wheel, this axle is a running-gear component for Crown electric lift trucks, carrying the wheel on the chassis through every load and travel cycle. Under load it transfers the weight of the truck and its cargo from the wheel into the chassis, and it holds the wheel in alignment so it tracks straight rather than wandering or scrubbing.

Years of service wear the bearing surfaces of an axle and open up play, which then transmits into the bearings riding on it and into the wheel it carries. A fresh axle removes that play and the vibration it causes, protecting the surrounding bearings and preserving smooth rolling contact where the wheel meets the floor. It is produced to Crown specifications so it seats correctly in the original housing without machining or modification.

This axle is used in the load wheel assemblies of Crown lift trucks. Match the shaft diameter, length, and bearing seats to the axle being replaced, since those surfaces set both how the bearings seat and how the wheel aligns.
