The Crown load wheel spacer sets the axial position of the load wheel on its axle, filling the gap between the wheel bearing and the mounting so the wheel sits centered in its yoke and turns without side play. Correct spacing keeps the wheel from rubbing the frame and holds the bearings under even preload, which protects both the wheel and the axle from uneven wear. Fitting the right spacer during a load wheel rebuild ensures the new wheel lands in the same plane as the original. It is used on Crown electric lift trucks. Confirm the spacer width and bore against the axle it fits before assembly.
