Ball Bearing 441-127 – BR-855

Carrying a load wheel on its axle, this ball bearing supports the wheel's rolling load and lets it turn freely under the weight the truck is moving. It seats in the wheel where it takes the radial load along with the grit and moisture that come with floor-level service, one of the harder positions a bearing works in.

Load wheel bearings sit close to the floor and under continuous load, so they are a routine wear replacement rather than a lifetime part. As the bearing wears, the wheel develops play, roughness, or noise, and a dragging or seized bearing puts extra load on the drivetrain, which is why it is renewed at the first sign of trouble.

Confirm the bore, outer diameter, and width against the bearing being removed, along with the seal or shield type, since load wheel bearings often share a bore and outer diameter but differ in sealing and internal clearance, and the wrong seal type shortens service life in a dirty position.
